The Cultural Legacy of three Tibetan Lhapas
Indigenous Lenses was created to fund Fate of the Lhapa, a documentary
on the last three Tibetan Lhapas living in a refugee camp in Nepal. Upon
completion of the documentary, the three Lhapas, Pau Wangchuk, Pau Rhichoe
and Pau Nyima, requested that Sarah continue to return and help support
both their healing traditions and their refugee camp. Although all three
Lhapas have since passed away, Indigenous Lenses continues to support their
families as promised….and hopes that one day, an heir to their healing
tradition will appear.
